All Backup2 programs have been updated to version 4.3, introducing a new secure destination (SFTP) for Backup2 FTP and other updates/fixes. Download it here: Backup2 4.3

Compared to the previous version, Backup2 4.3 introduces several new features, fixes and enhancements, such as:

• [Backup2 FTP] Backup to SFTP was added
• [all] Added a new option that lets you Backup all groups
• [all] Option to split files larger than a specific size for FTP backups
• [all] Select the scheduler priority
• [all] Change the scheduler username and password for multiple jobs
• [all] New option to "Store temporary catalog data in memory"
• [all] "Minimize to tray when finished" added for backup on demand
• [all] Pressing Cancel during the Clean operation is not possible anymore
• [all] "Last Backup" and "Last backup status" from Brief view will be updated even if no files were backed up
• [Backup2 FTP] Cancel backup during catalog upload will not result in a corrupt catalog
• [all] Index out of bounds during independent test for mirror
• [all] Backup open files on 64-bit OS
• [all] Desktop.ini file was modified after backup on Windows 2008 R2

This upgrade is free for registered users of Backup2 (all editions) 4.2, 4.1 and 4.0

Compared to the previous version, this update introduces new features and many enhancements and fixes, such as ([all] means that the update is available in all the programs from the Backup2 suite):

• [all]Added Unicode filename support (files with non-standard characters can be easily backed up now)
• [all]Backup2 programs are now compatible with 64-bit operating systems too
• [all]Environment Variables can be used when defining new filters (e.g. %temp%, %SystemRoot%)
• [all]Added option to select new filetype for log files (.txt is accepted now too, given that .log files cannot be opened on Blackberry devices)
• [all]Added "Run With" and "Job Type" in schedule lists
• [all]Added a new button for "Ignore all" during restore
• [Backup2 FTP]Added message for mirror backups to FTP when splitting large files and there is not enough space in temp (Ftp allows files of max 2GB)
